A digital business card is an electronic version of a traditional paper business card that can be shared and accessed digitally—usually via smartphones, tablets, or computers.
Essentially it is a webpage focused on contact details with buttons to share and to download a vCard to a phone

What is a vCard?

A vCard (short for "virtual contact file") is a standardised digital file format used to store and exchange contact information. Typically saved with a .vcf extension, vCards can include details such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, company affiliations, job titles, and even multimedia elements like photographs or logos .

Are there any ongoing fees?

We offer a one time setup fee and LIFETIME free hosting. This means unlimited scans / page views.
You only pay a small fee of $36 (per email request) when you want to update the content.

What defines 'per email request'?
When you receive the artwork proof and say want to make 3 changes
(example: 1. change title, 2. add social link, 3. use the attached photo in the header background)

• IF these 3 changes are supplied in a single email , this is classed as 1x 'design change' ($36)
• IF these 3 changes are supplied in 3 separate emails , this is classed as 3x 'design changes' ($108)
• If MULTIPLE Digital Business cards need changing at one time, let us know the quantity and required changes and we will provide a discounted formal quote.

There is no backend management system for this service, so this information is not viewable via our service.
If you supply your google analytics tracking code to the spreadsheet, 'scans' (page views) can be tracked via Google Analytics.

What additional buttons can we have?

You can have as many customisable buttons as desired, note you need to supply:

1. Button text
2. URL Link

Can you just supply the QR code, and create the details for the digital business card later?

All content is required BEFORE we supply the QR code – otherwise the ‘save contact’ function will not work correctly.
If changes are required we charge $36 per email request.

Is there the ability to 'click' and it takes you straight to the maps to get directions?

Yes, just enter your address.

Can we in embed a video on the page?

Absolutely. You need to supply embed YouTube video code

3. Present Options: We will send you a link to the Digital Business Card to check if changes are required.
4. Create Additional: On approval to the sample (and if you require more) we will create the additional cards.
5. Hosting: We finalise the Digital Business Cards and host on our High DA domain 'pp1.com.au' - or supply for you to host.
