A sample panel may be requested when you place your order (additional $30), if you are concerned about colour variation and final cut size. This will however, add to the total time of production.

The following is the 'print ready' artwork requirements. These are to ensure a quality result and efficiency in processing time.
If you cannot supply the artwork print ready, we charge from $36 to correct your artwork . Please email through artwork for a formal quote.

Size:

Trim Size: 220 x 120mm.
With Bleed Size: 240 x 140mm.
Safe Area Size: 200 x 110mm.

Safe area: 5mm top and bottom // 10mm left and right.
Bleed: 10mm bleed is required. Trimming of Dye Sublimation products (mouse mats, stubby holders etc) can vary up to 5mm.
Rich Black: C: 0 | M: 0 | Y: 0 K: 100
Suggested logo size: 60mm width to see without rotating cooler.

Supply as:

PDF format - using PDF-X1A to flatten any transparency etc.
Export with crop marks and 30 mm bleed (so you can see printer notes) / min 10mm bleed required.
If you order has multiple kinds (cards with different people / artwork). The cards need to be supplied as separate files.
e.g. if the order is for 5 kinds, there should be 5 x PDF files supplied (note above file layout).

How thick are Stubby Holders?

Our quality stubby coolers are made from 6mm thick Neoprene (also known as wetsuit material) They have a good firm, yet spongy feel and do their intended purpose of keeping the drink cool and your hands warm.

What is Vector?

Vector artwork allows us to edit elements to ensure it will print correctly. For example, If you have a background photo with a logo on top, if the logo is in a vector format, we can adjust the print settings to ensure your logo will print as close to the intended colours as possible.

Generally vector artwork is within .AI, .SVG, .EPS, .PDF files. You can tell if artwork is vector by zooming in 6,000%. If it pixelates, it is NOT in a vector / editable format.
If it 'redraws' or consists of the same quality, the artwork has been made in a vector fomat.
PNG or JPG are Bitmap files (made from pixels) and are NOT vector / editable.
Photoshop cannot create vector artwork, Illustrator can.

How will my artwork look when made into a STUBBY HOLDER?

The reason we have been in business so long is we have specialised in getting the job done right the first time. We provide free consultation to go over your artwork to advise and give our recommendations. We advise of what works and what does not before you make a purchasing commitment.

What’s the reason for so many artwork requirements?

Hands down, if you want quality, it starts with quality artwork. Many people do not consider how colour on screen translates to ink on paper. Rich Black is the perfect example. Using too much CMY with K can cause a muddy brown result. This is because there is simply too much ink going onto the card. The different card products we offer use different CMYK values to create the best rich black for the specific card.

Print finishing artwork need to be ‘vector’ / editable. This is because elements need to be modified to ensure a great result. In the instance of foil stamping or embossing, a metal block needs to me made. It is impossible to do this from pixel based artwork. Please do not send PNG or JPG files. These type of file formats are pixel based and not editable. Further details are provided in the ‘artwork’ tab.

How do I supply artwork for Stubby Coolers?

When you submit your PDF, it should contain 'crop marks', important artwork within the 'safe area' and the required amount of 'bleed'. More information about this process can be found in the ‘artwork’ tab
