Bushlands Tourist Park (also known as Windeyer Caravan Park) lies beside the rich gold bearing Long Creek in the historic village of Windeyer, in the picturesque hills of Central West NSW. Situated on six acres, visitors can relax under leafy shade trees in this tranquil grassy haven and enjoy watching the abundant bird life and local native animals.

Bushlands has a range of self contained accommodation to suit various groupings and budgets as well as standard cabins, retro caravans, powered sites, and camping areas. There is a sheltered camp kitchen and a large amenities block with laundry facilities.  The general store is well stocked and open long hours; gold fossicking equipment can be hired.

Bushlands is a pet friendly park.
Next door is the Gold & Fleece Hotel, where the atmosphere is always warm and friendly and great meals are served from Thursday to Sunday.
The ideally situated Mudgee Observatory is only a 15 minute drive from Bushlands. Bushlands Tourist Park is 40km from Mudgee. Not far away are the old Gold towns of Sofala, Hargraves, Hill End, and Gulgong. The area is famous for top quality wines, olives, and honey.

From Sydney the drive takes about four hours via the Blue Mountains and up from Lithgow through spectacular scenery, passing popular fishing spots on Lake Windermere. Bushlands Tourist Park is located either from Aarons Pass turn-off, via Queens Pinch Rd, or via Hill End Rd, from Mudgee.
The GPS location is S 32.47.44.0 E 149.33.25.6 which will take you to the front gate.

Below detials the 3 turn off's to Bushlands Tourist Park at Windeyer:
AARONS PASS  which is approx 13 km North of Ilford coming from  Sydney. There is about 30km of dirt road going this way.
QUEENS PINCH turn off which is about 5 km Sydney side of   Mudgee which also has about 8km dirt road.
HILL END RD, this is sealed all the way to WINDEYER. Turn off 4km along Castlereagh Hwy NW of Mudgee at Honey Haven, just past the level crossing. 

Sealed rd access From Mudgee information centre, drive out of town 4km down Castlereagh Hwy turn left at HILL END Rd - just after railway line (sign for Honey Haven). Continue 17 km down HILL END rd, turn LEFT at WINDEYER rd towards PYRAMUL & WINDEYER (corner of Grattai CWA Hall). Continue 19 km down WINDEYER rd to BUSHLANDS on the LEFT
The village is rather stretched out, it goes from 60kph to 80kph and back to 60kph, keep going until you reach Bushlands & the PUB, on LEFT.

If coming from Lithgow / Sydney (along Castlereagh HWY) you may want to knock half an hour off your journey by travelling the scenic route along AARONS PASS. This route is un-sealed and is subject to weather conditions The turn off is 13km north of Ilford, about 43km south of Mudgee..Turn left onto Aarons Pass and continue for about 23km to the Pyramul Rd, Windeyer Rd intersection. Turn Right through the village of Pyramul and continue 15km to Windeyer. The Hotel and Bushlands are the first village buildings on the right.
