Full-Colour CMYK Printing
Our high-resolution CMYK digital and offset printing offers rich, consistent colour reproduction across a wide range of substrates. Ideal for brochures, business cards, catalogues, packaging and more—our CMYK prints are perfect for full-colour images and fast turnarounds without compromising quality.

🎯 Specialist Pantone Colour Printing
For brands that demand absolute colour consistency, we offer true spot colour Pantone® printing via offset press. Unlike digital simulations, our Pantone printing uses genuine PMS inks, ensuring precise colour matching for logos, corporate stationery, and any brand-critical print. This is ideal for businesses that rely on brand uniformity across multiple print runs. Learn more at printpromotion.com.au/pantone-printing.

🖨 Offset vs. Digital – The Best of Both Worlds
Offset Printing is ideal for large-volume jobs, where the per-unit cost decreases with quantity, and colour precision is key. It supports specialty finishes, Pantone inks, and a wide range of paper stocks and weights.
Digital Printing excels at short-run, fast-turnaround jobs where flexibility and speed are essential. It's perfect for personalised items, mock-ups, and lower-quantity promotional print.

    About Pantone Printing

Our uncoated textured cards and flyers range from 300 (flyers)-400gsm (business cards).
As we offer a range of textures and coloured stock, Pantone (not CMYK process) printing is used
to ensure quality results. Please keep in mind Pantone colours will not vary print to print on white stock, however colours will dramatically vary on coloured stock.  For this reason we recommend only printing  871 U Gold & 877U Silver (metallic inks) on coloured stock.
NOTE: When selecting colours / using a Pantone swatch book, ONLY use SOLID UNCOATED as 99% of printing with be on Uncoated paper..

    Difference between Pantone & CMYK

The following will give you more understanding of the differences of Pantone (PMS)
    and CMYK ("Full colour")

    CMYK _________________________________________________
Short for Cyan - Magenta - Yellow - Black , is a colour model in which all colours are described as a mixture of these four process colours.
This allows around 10,000,000 colour shades to choose from. CMYK is the standard colour model used in offset printing for full-colour documents.

    CMYK PROs:

    • Full colour printing
    • Generally cheaper to print

    CMYK CONs:

    • Lack of colour vibrancy ... some colours can be dull compared to what
      Pantone can offer
    • Cannot print 'Neon' or 'Metallic' colours
    • Cannot guarantee consistency of colours, so colour may vary from print to print, printer to printer

    PANTONE®___________________________________________
Pantone is a standardised colour matching system, utilizing the Pantone numbering system for identifying colours.
The Pantone Solid palette consists of 1,867 colours to choose from, identified by three or four digit numbers, followed by a C or U suffix: (C= Coated Paper), (U= Uncoated Paper).
    PANTONE® PROs:

    • Colour consistency - the colour you choose, is the colour you get regardless of print run or printer
    • Vibrant / Neon colour & metallic ink options

    PANTONE® CONs:

    • Colours should be referenced form a physically printed Pantone swatch book
    • Less colour range
    • More expensive per colour

    Pantone Neon

Pantone NEON range cosists of the following vibrant colours

    Pantone Neon Colours

In a nutshell, if you need vibrant, neon colours, this is the only way to print them.
Neon colours require specialised inks to be mixed. These colours usually need to be ordered in, and note they have a SHELF LIFE so unless used commonly, this typically costs more than standard Pantone printing (and a lot more than CMYK printing.)
Here is an example of PMS 805 on our 550 gsm Premium Cotton (with debossing Foil edges)

    Pantone Metallic

Pantone Metallic range cosists of the following colours.

    Pantone Metallic Inks

The standard Metallic colours offered are PMS 871 GOLD and PMS 877 SILVER .

    Pantone PMS 871 gold print
    Pantone PMS 877 silver print

The standard Metallic colours offered are PMS 871 SILVER and PMS 877 GOLD .
Other colours usually need to be ordered in , and note they have a SHELF LIFE so unless used commonly can add a lot to the cost.

    PMS Swatch & Samples

When printed, Pantone colours can differ greatly from CMYK or what you see on the screen. Also, as monitors are calibrated differently, the ONLY method of checking a pantone colour is a physical sample. This is a MUST if you want to check the colour before print.

Usually, a graphic designer will have a ‘swatch book’ which is essentially a book of the 1,867 printed colours in the SOLID UNCOATED range. Solid Uncoated is the only book that should be referenced for pantone printing.
Pantone Chips If you do not have access to one of these books, no problems. We have a ‘chips’ book that we can detach individual colour samples and post them to you. We send you the Pantone swatches colour(s) of your choice for $10ea. Add additional $20 for EXPRESS postage.
Be sure to ask for "Pantone SOLID UNcoated" and quote the number you require.

This chart is a reference guide only. Pantone colours can vary when viewed on screen due to monitor limitations, calibration and quality.
