Step 1:
Send us through the customisation requirements for your project. You can do this by either:

1. Fill out this form (recommended)
2. Adding the details in the ‘Canva Artwork Link’ in the second step when adding to cart.
3. Emailing us
4. Replying to our ‘customisation requirements' email.

1. Choose a photo: We’ll edit it to ensure it will look great when laser engraved.
2. Heading 1: This is the text that will be displayed under the photo (if required).
3. Heading 2 - Sub Heading : This is the second line of text.

Step 2:
After we receive the requirements , the following steps will take place:

1. Artwork proof: We will add your customised requirements to our artwork and send you through a ‘PDF’ proof email.
2. Proof approval: Reply with your acceptance (or request change) and add your add / confirm delivery address.
3. Production: We will promptly create your customised art and frame it.
4. Send: We will organise courier and send you the tracking details.
   NOTE: if your order is urgent, please call us to see if we can upgrade the courier.
   We will need to know delivery deadline and suburb / post code.

What is Vector?

Vector artwork allows us to edit elements to ensure it will print correctly. For example, If you have a background photo with a logo on top, if the logo is in a vector format, we can adjust the print settings to ensure your logo will print as close to the intended colours as possible.

Generally vector artwork is within .AI, .SVG, .EPS, .PDF files. You can tell if artwork is vector by zooming in 6,000%. If it pixelates, it is NOT in a vector / editable format.
If it 'redraws' or consists of the same quality, the artwork has been made in a vector fomat.
PNG or JPG are Bitmap files (made from pixels) and are NOT vector / editable.
Photoshop cannot create vector artwork, Illustrator can.

How will my artwork look when branded?

The reason we have been in business so long is we have specialised in getting the job done right the first time. We provide free consultation to go over your artwork to advise and give our recommendations. We advise of what works and what does not before you make a purchasing commitment.

What’s the reason for so many artwork requirements?

Hands down, if you want quality, it starts with quality artwork. Many people do not consider how colour on screen translates to ink on paper. Rich Black is the perfect example. Using too much CMY with K can cause a muddy brown result. This is because there is simply too much ink going onto the card. The different card products we offer use different CMYK values to create the best rich black for the specific card.

Print finishing artwork need to be ‘vector’ / editable. This is because elements need to be modified to ensure a great result. In the instance of foil stamping or embossing, a metal block needs to me made. It is impossible to do this from pixel based artwork. Please do not send PNG or JPG files. These type of file formats are pixel based and not editable. Further details are provided in the ‘artwork’ tab.

How do I supply artwork?

When you submit your PDF, it should contain 'crop marks', important artwork within the 'safe area' and the required amount of 'bleed'. More information about this process can be found in the ‘artwork’ tab.
